My Story
I’ve always had a passion for food, especially artisan produce and even better if it’s produced locally.
Lucky for me I have a hubby who has 30 yrs experience behind him of being a chef and now running his own pub/restaurant business here on the island at ‘The Crown and Anchor Inn’.
And any good chef who is worth his ‘salt’…(sorry)…will tell you that seasoning is such an important part of cooking.
It can either make or break a dish.
And that’s where I come in…
My own artisan journey began in 2020. An idea took hold about the possibility of producing sea salt naturally here on the island where I live.
I did a lot of research and investigation to explore that possibility.
It’s been quite challenging at times but several storms and 3 polytunnels later, and heaps of support from family and friends, my Holy Island Sea Salt vision became a reality. I can’t thank you all enough.
